Gym rules

"art of eight limbs"

Gym rules:

1)  - Training is by arrangement only. No person is allowed to arrive for training without first speaking to Neil and being granted permission to train. This is to maintain the integrity of the gym and prevent any inappropriate associations. Neil is a serving police officer, the terms of his employment with the police service prevent him from associating with any person involved in criminality.

2)      -Students must be law abiding citizens. Muaythai is a potentially lethal art form, it should not be taught to any person who may use it to break the law in any way. Any student found to be breaking the law will be banned from the gym.

3)      -The gym will be a safe environment for people from all cultural and social backgrounds to train. There will be no bullying, intimidation or discrimination of any kind tolerated. We will always treat each other with courtesy and respect.

4)

5)      There will be no refund given for missed or cancelled private lessons. The coach has discretion based on serious illness and other emergency situations etc. We urge you to be well organised and plan your training realistically around your private life.

6)

7)     Personal hygiene – some of our training will be partner based. Students are expected to attend the gym in a clean and tidy state ensuring they have showered and do not smell of stale sweat. Please do not attend the gym having just smoked or consumed alcohol. Students must ensure they do not have any illness or infections and ensure their toe nails are clipped and tidy.

8)  -Illness and injury. Please do not attend the gym if you feel unwell.

Most injuries can be trained around. Please seek advice from your coach if you are unsure if you should train due to injury.

9)      -All persons joining the gym must complete the registration and health questionnaire form prior to attending the gym for the first time. You will not be allowed to train without this.

10)   -Students must always follow the directions of the coach during classes/private lessons. This is to ensure safety. Anyone not following instructions will be asked to leave.

11)  Social media. The gym will have a big presence on social media, whilst we welcome support students will not get involved in any negativity or arguments/disputes with other gyms. This is sadly something that is increasing in the UK Muaythai community and not something that G-Force Muaythai will be involved in. Some training will be filmed for feedback purposes and to positively advertise the gym on social media. Please inform your coach if you do not want to participate in this.

12)   -There is no facility to leave personal property at the gym. Please leave with what you attended with.

13)   -Data. Your data will be stored confidentially in line with General data protection guidelines.

14) -  Equipment. Students should seek advice from their coach before purchasing or bringing any equipment to the gym. You may be prevented from using unsuitable or damaged equipment in the interests of safety.
